In 10 days, you’ll wander through bustling tipica markets, visit ancient Mayan ruins, learn to make tortillas by hand, hike the famous Antigua volcano, enjoy authentic Guatemalan food, and so much more!

The trip starts in Antigua where world famous alfombras (huge colorful saw dust rugs) line the cobblestone streets. With colonial edifices and church ruins, you’ll get an up close look at Guatemalan history and culture.

Next, to Tikal! These ancient Mayan ruins will leave you wanting to know more! This is the perfect place to sit and connect with the earth, walk through the jungle as monkeys swing from tree to tree above you, and enjoy the beauty of a structure that’s been on the earth for over a thousand years. 

And finally, we’ll visit the magical Panajachel or “Pana” as the locals call it. Pana is a melting pot town that sits on the beach overlooking the teal Lake Atitlan surrounded by volcanos and luscious mountains. Experience the Guatemalan night life and try the cucaracha drink at the bar while the biggest soccer match plays on the T.V.
